Official NTA data
Predictions use NTA's published score-to-percentile normalization tables for the 2025/2026 cycle. We linearly interpolate between published bands.
~14 lakh candidates
AIR estimate assumes ~14L candidates appearing in JEE Main. Range shown reflects typical year-to-year variation around the central estimate.
Not a guarantee
Actual percentile depends on shift difficulty and final NTA normalization. Treat predictions as a planning estimate, not a result.
FAQ
Common questions about the JEE Main percentile predictor.
How does this compare to the eSaral rank predictor or Mathongo percentile predictor?
All three use the same underlying NTA score-to-percentile normalization tables — the math is public. AlphaJEE differs in three ways: no login or email required, sub-200ms load, and AIR + suggested colleges shown on the same page. eSaral and Mathongo gate similar tools behind signup walls or course promotions.
How accurate is the JEE Main percentile predictor?
The predictor interpolates linearly between the official NTA-published score-to-percentile bands for the 2025/2026 cycle. For raw scores in the 50-280 range, predicted percentile is typically within ±0.5 percentile of the actual NTA-published value. The edges (very low and very high marks) carry more uncertainty.
How is All India Rank (AIR) calculated?
AIR = (100 − percentile) × total candidates / 100. AlphaJEE uses ~14 lakh candidates as the JEE Main baseline (matches official NTA registration data). The shown range accounts for typical year-to-year variation in registration counts.
Is AlphaJEE really free with no signup?
Yes. No login, no email, no paywall, no popup. The site is funded by the founder. There are no ads on tool pages and no upsell to a paid course.
